Born and raised in the heart of Cirebon’s dynamic music scene, Mandadu is far more than just a new face in Indonesian hip-hop. As both a vocalist and a rapper, he has carved out a unique identity through a signature blend of straightforward rapping techniques and melodic vocal character.
Mandadu’s creative journey gained major momentum when he joined Project Qiu, a musical collective founded by legendary producer and rapper Tabib Qiu (Soul ID). It is here that Mandadu, alongside teammate I-Kid, redefines local hip-hop—keeping it relevant and witty while maintaining deep artistic substance.
Synergy Within Project Qiu
With Tabib Qiu as mentor and producer, and I-Kid as his partner-in-rhyme, Mandadu is part of a trio known for their bold experimentation.
For Mandadu, music is a bridge. He continuously proves that hip-hop does not always have to be rigid. Driven by a spirit of collaboration and a love for local culture, Mandadu continues to push forward, bringing a fresh palette to the Indonesian music industry from behind the Project Qiu microphone.
